“I find that collages and photography are the best ways of representing frequency because these mediums allows for repetition of themes, bodies, and concepts. With these collages, there is an obvious repetition of the black female body — in an effort to force discussion around the policing and surveillances of such a body. In other words, my work focuses on bringing images of black bodies forward, to increase the frequency at which we consume these images in relation to images that continue the normalization of white bodies in media. ”
